Merlybobs Posted 25 September , 2014 Share Posted 25 September , 2014 Hello, Hope this is OK to post here, if not please say. I am just wanting to see if anyone knows anything about any paraphernalia/medals/plaques in recognition of any of these soldiers: - Pte Arthur John Verrall of the 28th Battalion Australian Inf - Pte Matthew Wake of the 24th Northumberland Fusiliers (1st Tyneside Irish) - Sgt. John Robert Hartley of the Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish) I do not know if any of these medals (or even if they had any - I know Matthew did) have been sold or in the family, but if anyone has heard of / posses any of them please can you let me know. Many thanks! Kind Regards, Merlybobs.
Sepoy Posted 25 September , 2014 Share Posted 25 September , 2014 Hello Merlybobs I am afraid that I cannot help you with the current location of any material relating to your three soldiers. It may, however, be worth joining the British Medal Forum and equiring there as well. Seeherehttp://www.britishmedalforum.com Hope this helps Sepoy
