Cannot figure what happened to this mans legs

It does'nt look like a GSW and the top one looks like 12th Field Ambulance

The next one down has the same date but looks like 49 CC Stn.

Wherever he was he was only there 3 or 4 weeks.

Whats D.A.A.G.

If its any help he was 1st Bn Irish Guards then transferred to the 2nd BN

There seemed to be quite a broad pantheon of ailments brought under the heading. In some ways it covered a lot of injuries that didn't involve a penetrative wound or a bone fracture.

Are there medical records available or is this from a service record? I would be very interested in records for the 47th CCS in June 1918. Did they keep them and are they archived?

This is from a service record and is the only mention of, what i think is the 49th CCS.

I havent checked yet to see if it was close to the 1st Bn Irish Guards Sept 1917
