offibo Posted 6 February , 2015 Share Posted 6 February , 2015 It seems to be a very short sword, could it be naval? I have a Turkish officers sword that was surrendered to my great grandfather (Lt Col Bradley) in 1917 when he entered Bahgdad . It is a lot longer than this one and is curved in the blade. The handle and guard are similar though and the scabbard is brightly polished, possibly chromed with brass hangers and finial. The markings are a little different too.
