Cooperman7 Posted 9 September , 2014 Author Share Posted 9 September , 2014 It looks like this but I'm not sure as only has serial number on handle I came across in a trunk . With boots helmet fake stick Bomb . Smock and k98 original ammo pouches
centurion Posted 9 September , 2014 Share Posted 9 September , 2014 I've got one like that - my aunt picked it up in Paris in 1944 - by the numbers stamped on it it's obviously been reissued so I suspect a WW1 one originally. We have some real bayonet collectors who'll be along shortly I suspect - I've just got family souvenirs

trajan Posted 9 September , 2014 Share Posted 9 September , 2014 Looks interesting. Would you give us details of the serial number? I am currently sailing at sea, a long way from books and often the internet and so can't properly search, but seems to be a 1914. Any marks on the ricasso?
