J.J. Posted 31 August , 2014 Share Posted 31 August , 2014 Hi I'm researching a "friendly fire" incident which occurred on (about) 26th August 1914 during the Retreat from Mons when a patrol of 19th Hussars were fired upon by troops from the 19th Infantry Brigade. Information on this incident appear confused particularly regarding casualties, can anyone help me out please. Regards JJ

Loader Posted 1 September , 2014 Share Posted 1 September , 2014 This was the 2/RWF incident. Seems confirmed they fired on somebody's cavalry & may or may not have inflicted casualties. Looking forward to any new info that can be added about this incident.
