smiths565 Posted 25 October , 2004 Share Posted 25 October , 2004 Can anybody tell me what happened to HMS Penarth on the 4th February 1919. I have been researching people who died in the area where I live, Stannington, Sheffield, in the parish of Bradfield and one of the men listed on the war memorial is ........... Pond, Henry G, Petty Officer 201045 who is also buried in our local churchyard. Killed on the 4th Feb, 1919 - When I looked up other men on this ship - they all died on the same day. The question is, why & where ? Thanks in advance Robert.
