I have written a book about the 13th Lancashire Parachute Battalion called 13 - Lucky For Some and am now looking to occupy my research in the 8th Bn KOYLI. Does anyone have a copy of the 8th Bn KOYLI war diary and or any other info. I'm looking at researching this unit and any kind of documents/letter/accounts/photos would be handy. TEW Posted 6 August , 2014 Share Posted 6 August , 2014 TNA have Aug 1915 to Oct 1917 digitised and can be yours immediately for £3.30. I have 3 photos of George Thomas Nye when RSM of 2/5th KOYLI at Summer Camp 1915/6. Nye later went on to be CO?? of 8th KOYLI. He is also mentioned in the 2/5th Bn. diary when he left the 2/5th in France to join the 8th after his commission.
