It has been many years for me since, but does anyone recall the name of the lodging accommodation located on the southwest corner of the CWGC Tyne Cot cemetery which was run by a Flemish woman? Can't seem to locate it online so it may have ceased operation> Thanks Ralph

I can't help you with the name Ralph, but I do remember about 10 years ago visiting Tyne Cot on a very cold 11th November. She was giving out free mugs of hot soup to all-comers, what an angel !

It's called De Klaproos, Ralph. The current owner is Marijke, daughter of the lady you remember.

Thank You very much. Good to hear she is still there.

I was last there last on New Year's Eve 2000 and climbed on the Tyne Cot Cross as 2000 arrived, surrounded by a 360 view of fireworks. Gave the illusion of being in an artillery barrage Thanks again Ralph
