Flying through 'corridor' underneath Artillery Barrage

Hi all,

Am I correct in thinking that I have read of pilot/s flying underneath the barrage, through the corridor the arc the shells create over nomansland.. ?

Im sure I have read this somewhere but cannot recall where..
