Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I saw this reviewed (favourably) in The Times recently and thought it warranted attention here.

Hi Steve,

Does anyone have information about the Sikhs who fought for the RFC during the First World War?

Cheers

The Articles page from "India and the Great War" (United Services Institution of India) includes Flying Sikh Hardit Singh Malik by Somnath Sapru

This was probably from “Cross and Cockade” Journal of the British Society of World War I Aero Historians, Volume 6, Part 4, Winter 1975

For those in or near Northampton today .... http://www.nam.ac.uk/whats-on/first-world-war-activities/history-live

Or in Scarborough 9-10 August .... http://www.nam.ac.uk/whats-on/first-world-war-activities/heroes-on-horseback-war-horse

Or Dover 20-21 September .... http://www.nam.ac.uk/whats-on/first-world-war-activities/war-horse

Part of the 'outreach' programme organised by the National Army Museum during its unfortunately-timed closure for redevelopment.
