Lots of Drapers innthe Beds - do you have a first name or any other info about him?

1911 Census has 3 Drapers of the right age living in Great Barford -

Jack b 1893

Harry b 1894

Albert b 1897

There's an Albert Vincent Draper (17 in 1914) from Great Barford at SWB here

SWB

discharged "on account of disabilities contracted" see

And his MIC

If he's the right Draper - a corporal too..

Mike

I don't have access to Ancestry so can't open the links.

All I have on this man is that he was serving 2nd Beds around Sep- 1918 and was wounded with Lance Sergeant Arthur Gentle when 6 others were killed. Arthur Gentles obitutory in the Beds Times states that Pvte Draper of Great Barford was wounded with him and was then be treated in a hospital in Wales.

I trying to pinpoint when they were wounded - i'm thinking 19th Sept - 9 2nd Beds were killed that day near Ronnsoy.
