widavies Posted 17 July , 2014 Share Posted 17 July , 2014 Hi All, I understand the RWF museum at Caernarfon Castle is now closed. Is this a temporary or permanent measure? Regards Will

Ron da Valli Posted 18 July , 2014 Share Posted 18 July , 2014 It's still open, and with a good programme of Great War events;
Hollytree Posted 19 July , 2014 Share Posted 19 July , 2014 I visited the museum a few weeks ago, before the possible problem. Very impressive, the glass display of campaign medals is a sight to see. My cousin's grandfather was in Salonika with the RWF and last Saturday I visited TNA and looked at the diary for this. Lots of entries about the heat, mosquitoes and malaria.
