baird Posted 9 July , 2014 Share Posted 9 July , 2014 Thanks to the CWGC recent release of exhumation certificates I have a map reference for the location from which a relatives body was recovered on 14th November 1932. Can someone please clarify the issue of trench maps. The map reference was 57c. T.4.b.8.3. On the McMaster University site there are maps 57c for various years . In 1932 which issue would they have used to identify a location ? Or were the squares identical and only the trench lines changed? Sorry if this question is very basic but I would appreciate clarification. Many thanks, Baird
Admin spof Posted 10 July , 2014 Admin Share Posted 10 July , 2014 Hi Baird You are correct in thinking the map stayed the same with only the trench lines moving. You might aloso like to try the Trench Map Coordinates Converter here to see it on Google Maps. Glen
