NigelS Posted 9 July , 2014 Share Posted 9 July , 2014 Apparently the first ever joint concert by the two choirs is being held in Westminster Hall tonight to commemorate the centenary. One of the features of the concert will be that half way through performing Mendelssohn's Lobgesang the orchestra will stop abruptly and both 'sides' will then sing Nun Danket Alle Gott (Now Thank We All Our God) - guess it's the wrong time of year for Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht (Silent Night) - unaccompanied to mark the Christmas Truce.
