Can anyone help me as to what N.C.F.A. stands for on this medal? The medal was given to my Great Grandfather who was William James Galbraith Pvt. 8400 Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. I know he was in the pre war football team and I have a photo of him and the team in Crete after winning a competition.

The inscription ion the medal says:

R.I.

W.J.G.

N.C.F.A.

1911 - 1912

A quick google suggests the North Caledonian Football Association?

Note: I know nothing about football.
