Burn the Bunn.

Stuck in a rut researching Louis Andrew Bunn, 1886 to 1966, (sometimes Louis Andrews Bunn), his partially burnt papers are online and appear to show him joining 10th Norfolk Regiment in 1916 as private 8058.

Searched through various census returns and found his surname confusingly transcribed as Burn.

Tried searching medal card index using combinations of Bunn and Burn without success.

Any suggestions or guidance would be very welcome.

10th (Reserve) Battalion
Formed in Walton on the Naze in October 1914 as Service battalion, part of K4.
November 1914 : came under orders of 94th Brigade, original 31st Division.
10 April 1915 : became a Reserve battalion.
1 September 1916 : converted into 25th Training Reserve Battalion in 6th Reserve Brigade.

Maybe served at home so no MIC.

He served only within the United Kingdom, so would not have been entitled to any medals.
From his Casualty Form, he appears to have served in the following Regiments
10th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment
25th Training Reserve
2nd Garrison Battalion, Suffolk Regiment
Northamptons Labour Company
Royal Fusiliers Labour Company
302 Depot Labour Corps
and 14th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment
