Hi, I just wanted to put in a shameless plug here for my new blog, at acenturyback.com.

The blog will have something every day of the war's centenary--either something written that day (often by one of the well-known poets, but also many selections from lesser-known memoirs, contemporary histories, letters, etc.) or a short piece on an event in the life of one of the writers (all of the "featured" writers will serve on the Western Front, or as nurses, or have sons who serve on the Western Front). Right now there are some longer posts keyed to evens of "the last summer" and introducing some of the literary folks who will soon go to war, but by mid-August the blog will more typically be describing life that day, a century back, in France.

Thanks for reading!
