37 Days-BBC television series (3 episodes)

From the description of the program:

“This political thriller follows the catastrophic chain of events from the assassination of the archduke Franz Ferdinand on 28 June 1914, to the declaration of war between Britain and Germany on the 4th of August.

The series explores what went on behind closed doors - how decisions were made by important political figures - including British Foreign Secretary Sir Edward Grey and Winston Churchill.”

This series is now screening on SBS in Australia. The first episode has been screened and is available to view on “SBS On Demand” for a limited period which expires on 4 July 2014, 10:30pm. My understanding is that all “SBS On Demand” can be viewed from anywhere in the world

The next two episodes are Fridays 27 June and 4 July at 9.30 pm and can be viewed online at the time, or for the subsequent two weeks on “SBS on Demand”

A recent GWF post was about the release of this series on DVD

Just checked in New Zealand. "Due to publishing rights, the content you are trying to watch is currently not available outside of Australia"

Will have to buy the DVD instead.

Thanks Ann. I have amended the title. I know that some "SBS On Demand" titles are viewable in other countries, but it must vary according to the program.

Cheers
