NigelS Posted 19 June , 2014 Share Posted 19 June , 2014 A Daily Telegraph article from yesterday (18th June): 'Kaiser Wilhem's early drawings shed new light on childhood'Not sure, if they were taken in isolation, just how much of an insight the sketches give to the Kaiser's personality though: I remember drawing - admittedly nothing like as good as those shown - war related items as a kid, but I don't think I'd be labelled as a warmonger as a result - then again, I've never been in a position to do so! centurion Posted 19 June , 2014 Share Posted 19 June , 2014 Queen Victoria was a good sketcher and water colourist and she and Prince Albert insisted that drawing and painting was included in all their children's education. So the Kaisers mum was also good with pen pencil and brush and presumably taught him (or at least had him taught).
