Remembered Today:

Badge ID, ANZAC

I have in my possession a "Rising Sun" pattern badge worn by the Aussie's in WWI, WWII and Korea, but in nickel or possibly silver plate (I can not tell the difference)

Kings crown of course with split pin fasteners on the back, loops at 3:00 and 9:00.

I have been either informed or read somewhere that this metal badge was worn as a brooch by the Nursing Sisters or whatever in WWI. (Have I been "had?")

Can any Pals out there offer any guidence?

Thank you in advance.
