Those for 2014 include: Alnwick: Start of 3 year commemorative exhibition at RRF Museum Arborfield: the Arborfield Remount Depot Bodmin: The Old Contemptibles Bovington: “Warhorse to Horsepower” Exhibition Cardiff: Firing Line will host a Travelling Exhibition from NAM. Dates TBC Chatham: “Outbreak to Christmas Truce” joint project with NAM. Dates TBC Doncaster: conscription; prisoners of war Halifax: WW1 Gallery open 2014-2018 at Bankfield Museum (DWR) Leicester: outbreak of war and major battles in 2015 London: Mons/Mondemont (1st Battle of the Marne) Maidstone: Great War Activity programme Nottingham: Trent to Trenches exhibition Salisbury: mobilisation and the war in Belgium and France Shrewsbury: the rush to the Colours, enlistment in Shropshire Warwick: The start/early years of WW1 Winchester: The Western Front 1914-15 Winchester: A Call to Arms Jan Arborfield, REME: the Arborfield Remount Depot, until June 2014 Feb Salisbury: mobilisation and the war in Belgium and France to Dec 2014.
