Philip Wilson Posted 11 June , 2014 Share Posted 11 June , 2014 The following is by way of a sitrep – The Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum remains closed, although we will be re-opening on 9 August 2014 at 11am to coincide with the ‘Mobilisation of the Regiment' in Warwick one hundred years ago, with additional displays in the Ballroom and Pageant Gardens,Warwick. It is our intention to mark the 100th Anniversary of WW1 with a number of different exhibitions each year from August 2014 to November 2018. These will be advertised on our website - for example ‘Gallipoli August- December 1915’ in 2015. Our much improved Museum includes additional space, new lighting, air conditioning, and an archive and medal room including a lift. We are currently fitting out the Museum with a small team of volunteers. Our archives remain closed to the public- if you have a general enquiry about the Warwickshire Yeomanry then please contact me direct or via our website. http://www.warwickshire-yeomanry-museum.co.uk/
