Regulus 1 Posted 8 June , 2014 Share Posted 8 June , 2014 Hi, We are currently researching the crash location of Oswald Boelcke. We have a number of very interesting references on how the site looked like, where he was first transported to etc. On Thursday we will do some research in the Bapaume area with a small group. Can anyone help us with a trench map with the German positions from the periode October - December 1916 or very early 1917 ? Especially for the area Grevillers - Avesnes-les-Bapaume - Biefvillers - Favreuil. Sincere thanks ! Best regards, Johan
Ken Lees Posted 9 June , 2014 Share Posted 9 June , 2014 Johan, This map is dated 27th November, 1916. I have other dates around this time, too. Let me know if you need other areas around this location. Message me with your e-mail address if you need a larger image. Ken

CROONAERT Posted 9 June , 2014 Share Posted 9 June , 2014 Interesting name in this particular case for the positions between Bapaume and Bancourt on this Nov 1916 German map... Dave
Regulus 1 Posted 9 June , 2014 Author Share Posted 9 June , 2014 Now that is very intriguing Dave, and just adding to the confusion that already exists on the location where he came down ! But it is on the other hand another indication for us ! Thank you very much ! Best regards, Johan
