philary Posted 2 November , 2004 Author Posted 2 November , 2004 Hello Everyone again We have returned and as you all said it was an amazing experience. We visited all the Great Uncles' graves and found it moving and inspirational. The cemeteries are truly beautiful and so well kept. Each one possessed a sereness and tranquilty that was awesome. I am in the process of updating my website with all the photos! The French loved the Morgan! Even the Gendarmes waved and smiled at us. We shall definitely return soon. Hil & Phil PS We made it to Vancouver Corner spot on 4 pm on Friday!

philary Posted 3 November , 2004 Author Posted 3 November , 2004 Hi everyone Yes it was us in Albert, Monday afternoon! We were looking for somewhere to eat, no-one told us the shops aren't open until Monday afternoon, oh well we will know for next time! Glad you liked the gear, it is the only way to keep warm, because we never put the hood up! Mark - We must have got there as you left! We saw your posy and read the tribute. We passed Vancouver Corner again about 10.00 pm that night and it was lit up, it was even more beautiful, highlighting in sharp relief, the carving - very moving. Enjoyed your photos!
