Guest birkdalestjohn Posted 17 October , 2004 Share Posted 17 October , 2004 Pte. Hamblet (sometimes spelled 'Hamlet') Prescott served with 13th Btn. He died on 28th March 1918 and his memorial is at Arras. Is it possible to discover where his Btn was in action on 28th March 1918, what they were engaged in at that time, and if anything at all is known about Pte. Prescott? Stuart. CROONAERT Posted 17 October , 2004 Share Posted 17 October , 2004 You can see the positions of he 13/Kings on 28th March 1918 in the centre of this map. A few forum members have access to the Regimental history for the Liverpools (myself included - but not at the moment!) so you should find out what happened on this day relatively easily. (Do a "search" in the "Document Repositry" section of the forum and you'll find them). Dave.
