Looking for "any" information on this man,all I know is that he lived in either Station Street or Ellabt Road,Rainhill. As have posted before rainhill Civic Society have been researching every man on our War Memorial,we now have information on all of them except RobertsmI know it's a long shot but can anyone help ?

1911 census has him , aged 32 , at Ramford Street St Helens. Coal miner living with parents John and Hannah.

David Roberts name is recorded on the list of men who served in the First World War who resided in the Parish of Whiston. At the time of his death he is recorded as being from Cook Street, Whiston, I live in the Street next to where he lived.

He is not recorded on the Whiston War Memorial. I will be taking steps to have his name recorded on this memorial.

He was the son of Moses and and Louisa Roberts. The family are residing at 14, Cook Street, Whiston in the 1911 Census.

David Roberts was born in c1890. He was married at the time of his death, if you bear with me I will get his Biography.
