Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could have a look for a service record at Kew for me?

I'm trying to get the record for one of my Scout Group's founding leaders. His details are:

242336 LCpl Frederick Octavious GREENACRE.

His original number was S/13564 and he was in the 1st Bn Gordon Highlanders before transferring to the 5th Bn.

Even if someone can look and tell me if his record exists it would be a great help.

Thanks a lot,

Michael

You should drop Carolyn Morrisey a line - keeper of all things 5th Gordons..

she might have additional information that would be of use.

Thanks Chris, Carolyn has helped me with some information already. You are right, she is a bit of a legend.
