Guest RuairiRTE Posted 30 April , 2014 Share Posted 30 April , 2014 Hello, My name is Ruairi McKenna and I am a researcher in RTE TV Documentaries in Ireland. We are producing a two-part documentary series for television about Irish soldiers and nurses in WW1. One of our stories features a soldier in the British Army called Michael Curley who witnessed a grenade attack in France in Oct 1914. The grenade involved was a No 1 British Grenade. If possible, we are hoping to rent or loan this from a collector for filming. If you know of anyone who has a No 1 in their collection (particularly if they are based in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland) it would be great to hear from you! I can be contacted at ruairi.mckenna@rte.ie OR +353 (0)1 208 2701 Thanks, Ruairi
