Battle of Selles

Does anybody know anything about this battle, my grandfather Private M. McCarthy (photo taken in Shanghai 1914) 2nd battallion Royal Munster Fusiliers was awarded a gallantry medal for bravery but I cannot find much info on this.

2 Munsters achieved complete surprise and took all objectives. Check out 50th Division history. Plus mentions in Tom Johstone's 'Orange Green and Khaki.'

There is not much in Pitt's 1918-the last act or in Twenty Years After by Swinton.
