Royal Tank Regiment representation. ANZAC DAY ceremony Ypres.

If any "tank pals" are considering attending the forthcoming ANZAC DAY commemorations at Zonnebeke and Ypres, I am delighted and honoured to confirm that RTR RHQ has received an official invitation to provide a representative to attend this important day of ceremonies in order the regiment pay homage to the ANZAC troops who have fought and fell alongside British armour on so many occasions throughout two world wars and even today.

This being the case I am proud to reveal I have been tasked and requested to represent RTR RHQ and place the dedicated RTR wreath during the day's ceremonies. As a former RTR tank crewmember, this is a great honour for me to have received such a request from the regiment and one which I will not take lightly.

For any attending Friends of the Tank Memorial Ypres Salient I can also confirm the TMYS Standard will also be in attendance throughout the day.

ANZAC! The Royal Tank Regiment salutes you and honours your fallen. Lest we Forget!
