I have, after eight months of work, decided to now submit my project to the intense scrutiny of the GWF.

Some of the research has been carried out with invaluable assistance from members here & without Chris Bakers excellent Long, Long Trail, the site would be incredibly bereft of depth or information.

There are, I have no doubt, errors aplenty. If you do visit the site & see anything that requires correcting, then please do let me know. Likewise, if you can assist with any research then I will gladly accept any information you can provide. There are a few names that do not have pages attached to them due to the fact that there are problems with the research, ie one man who certainly lived in Swanscombe, possibly served during the war but I can find no trace of his death.
