OldJohnsman Posted 21 March , 2014 Share Posted 21 March , 2014 I'm trying to find the service record/regiment of Harold Leslie who was head teacher at Hunmanby School, Filey East Yorkshire. He was a student at St Johns College, York (1895-97) and then taught in the Oulton area. He is remembered on the College Roll of Honour and the Hunmanby War Memorial. He may have died in 1920 in the Leeds area. Thank you for any help. Pat

Guest Posted 7 July , 2019 Share Posted 7 July , 2019 I live in Hunmanby. On the memorial it has him serving in the RFA. There is a possibility that his rank was Gan Signl and regimental number is 233227
John(txic) Posted 8 July , 2019 Share Posted 8 July , 2019 His death would probably have been reported in the local press - might be worth looking at.
