Anneca Posted 17 March , 2014 Share Posted 17 March , 2014 seaJane, this news seemed to break today in several papers. I have been trying to find the cost of a Commemorative Set but the Royal Mail don't seem to have information about this on the web. Anne
seaJane Posted 17 March , 2014 Author Share Posted 17 March , 2014 Hi Anneca, I've just looked on their shop website and no, they don't, do they? They do still have the "Lest we forget" poppy stamps on sale from 2006-2008 http://shop.royalmail.com/issue-by-issue/lest-we-forget/icat/lestweforget but not the newly-announced stamps, so far. I'll keep my eyes open! sJ

seaJane Posted 17 March , 2014 Author Share Posted 17 March , 2014 This set, Great Britons, commemorating men and women born in 1914, includes Joan Littlewood of "Oh what a lovely War" (and Noor Inayat Khan, off-topic as she is). http://shop.royalmail.com/remarkable-lives/remarkable-lives-stamp-set/invt/20140303
Moonraker Posted 9 February , 2017 Share Posted 9 February , 2017 One of the later issues. Sergeant Alfred Wright's name misprinted, (The links are to commercial outlets - with which I have no connection - but are the easiest and most effective way of relaying details.)
