Khaki Posted 9 March , 2014 Share Posted 9 March , 2014 I have, as I mentioned before, one of those Webley & Scott cannon barreled flare pistols, I have just located a replacement butt swivel lanyard ring, my question is, when removing the swivel retaining pin, is it drifted out from left to right or the reverse. I am unsure if the pin is tapered? ps., does anyone get the impression I like Webley's thanks khaki
Khaki Posted 12 March , 2014 Author Share Posted 12 March , 2014 Unable to get the pin to budge either way, looks like I will have to file it flush and drill it out. khaki
asanewt Posted 12 March , 2014 Share Posted 12 March , 2014 Taper should be noticeable.Granny, eggs and so on but drill a small pilot first in case it's rivetted.
Khaki Posted 12 March , 2014 Author Share Posted 12 March , 2014 Thanks, for the tip, unfortunately there is less than 1/64 of material protruding, not even enough to fasten a 'jaws' on, further investigation may be necessary I will try to locate a schematic, regards khaki
