sixbeethree Posted 7 October , 2004 Share Posted 7 October , 2004 I have my grandads medals and SWB and have recently been given another veterans box.I now have two sets but the SWB? is about one inch diameter has 'For Loyal Service' around the edge and has a sort of fixing that could be put into a button hole. HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 8 October , 2004 Share Posted 8 October , 2004 Strangely the King's Badge for Loyal Service{WW2} was issued in two sizes,the Normal 3/4" Dia & a Smaller 1/2" Dia Version{both in White Metal{Nickel}though I have seen [& Have Examples of the Smaller Badge[1/2"]in both Nickel & Chromium*{*Which I believe were later issues}]Though the Badges were issued unnumbered; the Box of Issue was numbered as was the Issue certificate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
