Kellyk Posted 1 March , 2014 Share Posted 1 March , 2014 Hi, I have posted on here before about a war diary for my great grandfather but have recently found more papers that help me with a date. His name was John Vaughan and was in the 10th battalion Essex Regiment. On 26-9-16 he was reported as missing, and on 27-9-16 he had a gun shot wound which led to him being put onto the ship Caris Castle and brought back to England where he was discharged.
