david west Posted 28 February , 2014 Share Posted 28 February , 2014 Hello everyone. I found a medal in a drawer mixed up with a lot of my Grandfathers things. The medal was awarded to Thomas Besley, the medal has no ribbon but it has the George V (uncrowned) bust. Any ideas about this man. My Grandfather served 22 years in the army from 1910 - 1932, he might have been a friend of sorts...any ideas, or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, David
ralphjd Posted 28 February , 2014 Share Posted 28 February , 2014 What appears on the reverse side of the medal ? There are service records for a man of this name who came from Langley Marsh Somerset. Ralph.
