assafx Posted 18 February , 2014 Share Posted 18 February , 2014 Hello, These two, were found on two separate sites in what was the outskirts of Jerusalem in 1917. (Sorry for not photographing them in a studio, eventually they will get there). I couldn't ID this one: closeup on markings: second closeup (on another set of markings): The second fuze is a German Dopp Z.S/43: As far as I understand the Dopp Z.S/43 was used in naval guns. Is it true? if so how come a fuze for naval guns is found 2 miles north west to Jerusalem? Thank You Assaf
18th Battalion Posted 18 February , 2014 Share Posted 18 February , 2014 That looks like the remains of a British No.101 fuze to me.
