2 questions:

a. What was Gen Bushe's appointment in 15/16 at Woolwich?

b. When in 1916 was this film made?

Google reveals that he was a Gunner but little else about him.

What film?

(Or should that be, which film)?

Ah, that film.

Looked in Who's Who (1924) and Debrett's (1925), and not much help. He was Assistant Director of Artillery, 1906-10 and Commandant of the Ordnance College, 1911, but his war service is merely given as "a Brig. Com. 1914-17",I'm afraid.

Not a youngster: b 1858.

Thanks for looking. I think he was Woolwich Garrison Commander and had some training Regts under command (the troops being inspected by the Bishop in the film). Great Grandfather-in-law was his DAA and QMG Nov 15 - May 16 but I don't think he is shown in the film, the Maj on the right at the start is a Gunner I think and the very tall Major is too tall to be him.
