Guest bigsmiff Posted 3 February , 2014 Share Posted 3 February , 2014 Hello, I've recently joined the forum and would like a little advice on researching my Grandfather Arthur Henry Bannister. He was a regular soldier enlisting in 1908 and in the RGA. Between 05/08/1914 and 30/06/1916 he was in Gibraltar and then from 01/07/1916 and 20/05/1919 he was involved in the Salonika Campaign. I have his military records which give an outline of his movements but I don't know how to or where to go to get more information, the books and websites I have found show regiments arriving at various times and from various other theatres of war but I assume my Grandfathers inclusion in Salonika was on a smaller scale than that and I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction?
