Are there any websites/documents/books on the above subject. My Great Uncle Edward (5th Battalion Connaught Rangers) spent time in one in 1916, and i'd like to get a bit more information. Any help much appreciated..

A cousin of mine was captured by the Bulgarians, while serving in Salonika, in early 1918. He ended up in a POW camp run by Turks and I believe they ran a number of camps on behalf of the Bulgarians. I can't think of any published works on this subject, but some devilling at the Public Record Office might produce a better picture.

I think this is also another interesting topic. Does anyone have links or other info on the war in Bulgaria/Romania. Its not mentioned much here on the Forum, and probably one of the more forgotten fronts.
