Remembered Today:

Centenary display(s)

GRANVILLE

Recommended Posts

This evening I drove through the South Derbyshire village of Repton. One particular shop was lit up and the display in the window was un-missable so I stopped and took this photograph. Unfortunately there was nothing I could see in the window which explained what had prompted such an amazing display and maybe someone else on this forum can shed some light on it? It also made me wonder what other private displays are out there and how it would be interesting to gather them together on a thread for the purpose.

There appear to be photographs on the wall. Do they throw any light on the subject. Were they of some local event? A play perhaps?

I don't think so. I'm not very familiar with Repton and just happened to be driving through it. The premises seemed to me to be a photographic studio and the photos on display in the window seemed to be examples of their work.
