Beselare Posted 27 January , 2014 Share Posted 27 January , 2014 I am researching the position held by the 3rd Australian Field Ambulance near Villers-Bretonneux on 11th August 1918. The diary gives the position as Villers-Bretonneux Sheet 62?. O.29.d.7.6. The N&MP CD does not go that far south and apparently neither does McMaster. Is there any other route I could take to find this map? Many thanks Bob
CROONAERT Posted 27 January , 2014 Share Posted 27 January , 2014 Presumably Sheet 62D ? (Sheet 62 was in Belgium and the Belgian border area of France!) Anyway, here's O.29 from a 62D sheet from the end of July 1918.... Dave
Beselare Posted 29 January , 2014 Author Share Posted 29 January , 2014 Hello Croonaert Thank you very much for the map. I hadn't expected the site to be almost in the middle of the town, I thought it might be in the country area. Bob
