Letters 1916

Dia daoibh! Hello everybody.

It has been a while since I've actually posted something here but I thought I would share a project I am involved in at the moment. It's called the 1916 Letters Project. It is being run by Trinity College Dublin. In a nutshell the project aims to upload and transcribe as many letters as possible written around the time of the Easter Rising (1 November 1915 - 31 October 1916).

Anyone is welcome to upload their own letters, help in transcribing or simply browse. The project does not only cover letters concering the Rising, subjects range from love, crime, country and urban life and of course the Great War (hence me posting it here).

Feel free to give it a look see. I hope it sparks an interest amongst forum members (particularly, but of course not limited to, any Irish here).
