Blackblue Posted 6 October , 2004 Author Posted 6 October , 2004 Looks like one buyer got three of the WW1 medals, one of them going to another individual. The WW2 ones went to another buyer. TD
Blackblue Posted 7 October , 2004 Author Posted 7 October , 2004 I e-mailed the bloke who won three of these and he is going to e-mail the winner of the 4th medal to try and keep them together. To top this all off he believes that the Yorks group appears to be a Gallipoli DOW group (incorrectly recorded regimental #). I didn't even get a reply from the seller after e-mailing him. Nice!! TD
Guest Ian Bowbrick Posted 7 October , 2004 Posted 7 October , 2004 Good for you - hopefully they can reach an amicable agreement. Ian
Blackblue Posted 7 October , 2004 Author Posted 7 October , 2004 Cheers mate. I also alerted him to the WW2 group and he's the leading bidder on those as well. Will keep everyone posted. TD
sar2jec Posted 7 October , 2004 Posted 7 October , 2004 As it happens I was the winner of the 4th medal. Once I realised what had happend I did the honerable thing and offered the medal to the winner of the other 3. You can all sleep sound tonight. Jonathan
Blackblue Posted 8 October , 2004 Author Posted 8 October , 2004 Cheers Johnathan. Knew I'd seen the tag before somewhere.....well done. Shame you missed them but at least they'll be kept together! TD

Nice one - Ian
Terry Posted 8 October , 2004 Posted 8 October , 2004 Well done Jonathan! Here is proof that we are not all money-grubbing (medal-grubbing?) cads!
Derek Robertson Posted 8 October , 2004 Posted 8 October , 2004 Well done Jonathan. And Terry, speak for yourself (only joking - hope Nigel doesn't read this!)
