Following a thread on rootschat over a death in Switzerland in March 1921

This lad was discharged to pension through TB....if he did die of TB what do pals think of his chances of recognition?

Very good chance, Ady.

There will need to be documentary evidence of the cause of discharge and a death certificate confirming TB. In From the Col Project will be happy to advise once you've got that.

I picked up a DC for Charles Edward Berbridge from the GRO but unfortunately the consular deaths don't appear to include cause of death, so that wasn't helpful. Presumably the death was also registered with the Swiss authorities, but after making some enquiries it seems the cost would be around £100 and it's not certain that they would give out that information to non-relatives in any case. A pity because I think this might have been a good case.
