I doubt many stop to visit Les Baraques CWGC, landing off the ferry and heading south instead, but it is an interesting cemetery with a number of Germans there, plus at least one from the Quakers Mobile Canteen, and a Samoan. Even the name and date at the entrance is different, since it finishes in 1921, reflecting the continuing dying of wounds well after the end of the war, and also the flu epidemic.

If you have a little time next time you land in Calais, it is only a couple of miles from the port and worth a visit.

Incidentally, as you sail into Calais harbour, you will see a Cross of sacrifice on your right. It is a replica, and not in a cemetery, but a memorial to (IIRC) 20 odd members of the RRC who died defending the port in 1940. Again....wothy of a visit.
