I'm researching the above named soldier and was wondering if anyone could assist? Not even sure of his name as I've seen William R Osborne & Walter R Osborne. Is it possible to estimate his enlistment date or maybe find out what his MM was awarded for? Thanks in advance. Conor

Walter Robert Osborne born 1886 Plymouth Devon the nearest I can find. Fits in with Graeme's LG entry. Ralph.

Sorry in the delay replying. I've a 7 day old baby keeping me pretty busy

The main issue I'm having with Sgt Osborne is the fact that he has 2 MIC's that each show a different name. William R Osborne and Walter R Osborne. I've had a look on FMP and don't see any matches for William R. This leads me to believe his name is Walter R as suggested by Ralph.
