Hi Guys, Many thanks for all your help in this matter, I have to say that The Hon Arthur come to me/us in around about way, via some long forgotten pictures kept in a tin box from my late grandmothers time, (she died before I was born).I managed to get a copy of his obituary and is very revealing, he commanded the 12 (service) Bn until January 1915, when he was given the 207th Brigade,(who are they?).In May 1917 he went to France as Commandant 1 Corps Area, and in June 1918 he took over the Amiens Administrative Area, having been made honorary Brigadier/General in August 1917.

Colonel Dalzell, was a man of very strong opinions and was known for this throughout the British Army, and no man and officer who served under him is ever likely to forget them. He changed later in life becoming more mellow with the passing of time.

207 (2nd/1st) East Midland Brigade was a Home Service formation, part of the 69th (2nd East Anglian) Division. Dalzell commanded it from18th January, 1915, to 20th May, 1916. (Order ofBattle of Divisions Part 2 - Major AF Becke) The Special Service I mentioned in my original post will refer to his service as Commandant 1 Corps Area and in Amiens Admin Area. I hope that ties up the loose ends.
