WilliamRev Posted 10 January , 2014 Share Posted 10 January , 2014 Hi Elinga The 4th Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers fought the Second Battle of Gaza 17th-19th April 1917, an attack against the Turkish army which is not considered a great success, and they suffered around 230 casualties. There are several pages describing the battle in John Buchan's history of the Royal Scots Fusiliers, and if you send me your e-mail address in a private message (or e-mail me: william"at"williamrevels.com putting the @ symbol instead of "at") I will e-mail you scans of the relevant pages.
